On March 12, the "Quartet Peacemakers", U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, and the Quartet Peacemakers 's special representative, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, issued the following statement regarding Israel and the Palesitnians:
"Unilateral actions taken by either party cannot prejudge the outcome of negotiations and will not be recognized by the international community".
The "Quartet Peacemakers" repeated their condemnation of Israel's latest move to add Jewish housing in East Jerusalem saying:
"We are all committed to the launching of proximity talks between the Israelis and Palestinians," Clinton told reporters.
This comes just one day after "A rocket fired from Gaza on Thursday killed a Thai agricultural laborer at an Israeli cooperative farm on the border called Nativ Haasara. Israel responded within hours, launching air strikes on six targets in Gaza."
A spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had no comment on the statement.
Hillary held her head and asked, "What would Billy Do?"
"I would NOT have sex with that woman!"
